Founded in Bologna, Oway is a cosmetics company that draws inspiration from Italian culture and mindset, as well as the tradition of artisanal craftsmanship. Oway has developed unique principles of Agricosmetica® with the aim of offering treatments and products that enhance overall well-being and quality of life.

Oway's journey has its roots in the early 20th century when the Laganà family started working with natural essences and made their first foray into products. The family's extensive knowledge of the soil, ingredients, and the entire life cycle of the products allowed them to create offerings that utilize organic ingredients, thereby protecting the environment. By converting waste into resources through upcycling methods, they have been guided by nature itself in their processes.

In the early 2000s, they put their pioneering thinking into practice and introduced the biodynamic farming method to the Oway estate, Ortofficina, in the hills of Bologna. This approach enables perfect harmony to be maintained among all the living organisms on the farm, managing them in a holistic and dynamic way in order to support the vitality of the entire ecosystem, viewing this as a single microorganism.

Since then, Oway has been cultivating plants that become the active ingredients in its innovative formulas. These are then transformed into highly effective complexes of essential oils, hydrolates, extracts, and micronized plants. This process includes eliminating any substances that do not align with the Agricosmetica principles.
